Report Formatting Problem
hi,
I am using SQL Server reports 2008. I am having lot of problems with formatting the reports. I am using 5 tables in a report. One table is adjacent to another table. three other tables are one beneath another. All formatting is OK when I view it in Preview
(I am using Visual studio for development). But When I view these reports in browser, distracted view comes. All tables have different datasets. Sometimes distance between tables increases a lot. The report is very important to client, as they send printed
copy of this report to their customers. Also, when I export the report to word or PDF, formatting again changes. Any help in this would be highly appreciated.
I am using MSCRM 4.0 to view the report.
Regards,
Rohit

Hi Rohit_kr12,
According to your description, you are using MS CRM 4.0 to view the reports, and then finds there have some format issues in reports, right? Please correct me if my understanding is wrong.
What are you using to design the report, ReportViewer or use reports from reporting services? If you are using reports from report server, could you please verify the report format via report manager like following:
http://ServerName/Reports/Pages/Report.aspx?ItemPath=%2fSales%2fReseller+Sales+Cumulative+Sales
If there have any format issues with reports, please supply more details about the issue to us, and then we could help you better.
Once there is no issue occurs when viewing reports via report manager, I suggest you post the issue to our
CRM
forum and discuss the issue, there are many experts focus on it.
Hope that helps.
Thanks,
Eileen
