Report on DNS issues from the DCs
Hello,
Any existing
DNS report on issues most of them coming from the Domain Controllers?
I am able to see the views from the MP Microsoft Windows
DNS 2003 Server. (also 2000 and 2008)
but the reports are only for 2000???? no report for 2003 or 2008?
Under Authoring Group I do not see any group called
Microsoft Windows 2003 DNS Servers as stated in
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc180691.aspx or
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc180640.aspx
The MP Microsoft Windows DNS 2003 Server is version 6.0.7000.0 I see the servers in a group
called DNS 2003 servers is this correct?
Thanks,
Dom

Hi Dom,
Using the MPViewer.exe you can check the MP contents including the reports,
Open the MP in MPViewer.exe >> go to reports, check if that report exist..

Yes, the dns 2003/2008 reports are not there. Need to create them yourself basically, depending on what you want to see. I guess you could try create something like the dns 2000 reports if you feel like it. Bit unfortunate. You found the right post from
