Hi, SSRS 2008R2 database instance has no 'HOME' folder and no dependency on IIS. If you have sufficient privileges then you should be able to browse the report manger URL:' http://localhost/reports'. Please provide the URL details that you are trying to access.MSBI Developer

Also one more pointer is..For launching the Report manager one level of security elevation is required Launch the internet explorer with "Run As administrator" option. Tip : To always run any program with "Run as administrator"... Right click on the shortcut of the program.. click advanced ... In the window opening check "Always run as adminstrator check box"

Hi oulutas, According to the log you have provided, the issue is caused by the user 'computer_name\admin_user' do have no permission to access the report manager. On a new installation, only local administrators have access to a report server. Please try to use computer\Administrator account to access the report manager, and then use Report Manager to create the role assignments to grant access to other users. For more information, you can see the following article, Role Assignments: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms156406.aspx. If you have any question, please feel free to ask. Thanks, Eileen
