Reporting Services Integration
I am getting an error from SP2010 central administrator that the reporting services url which I can browse manually is not available when trying to configure Reporting Services integration. It is saying to check the ULS logs...which I do, and they
say the Reporting Services service is not running which is patently false...I have configured this multiple times before (with difficulty but eventual success)...I don't know what is different about this server config...but it's acting quite screwy...need
immediate assistance please...high priority ticket.

Which version of SSRS (2008, 2008 R2, or 2012)? Did you configure it specifically for SharePoint Integration Mode, or are you attempting to use Native Mode?http://sharepoint.nauplius.net

Hi dba_for_life,
From your description, the error message you have received may be like follows:
"Failed to establish connection with report server. Verify the server URL is correct or review ULS logs for more information. Product area: SQL Server Reporting Services, Category: Configuration Pages."
If so, the issue usually occurs if the Reporting Services was not congfiured to run in SharePoint Integrated mode or the Report Server is unreachable. Since the report server web service URL can be opened properly, the issue should be caused by that
the Reporting Services runs in Native mode. At this time, please open the Reporting Services Configuration Manager and configure the Reporting Services to run in SharePoint Integrated mode.
Reference:
Changing SQL Reporting Services from Native mode to Integrated mode in a BI test environment
If the issue persists, please elaborate the issue for further analysis.
