Dear All,
I need your help to get a report from SCOM(either using powershell or SQL Query) as below -
Server Name
Processor
Memory
Disk
Network
Processor Speed
Number of Processors
Avg CPU Usage
Maximum CPU Usage
Total RAM
Avg Memory Available
Avg Memory Usage
% Free Disk Space
Avg Bytes Total/Sec
Avg Bytes Total/Sec
previously i was used Virtual candidates to genrate reports as above. now this report is not working and also MS has told that there a bug in MP for SCVMM 2008. we need to have this report.
your kind help will be highly appreciated.

Last I checked, the Virtualization Candidates report will work even if you have root discoveries disabled in the SCVMM 2008 MP. In other words, you can disable the discovery and monitoring in the MP and continue to use the report. Have you tried the report

yes, i've tried the report with variety od dates and computer group but no luck. let me disable the discovery and monitoring for SCVMM 2008 MP. Will let you know after some time.Rakesh Kumar

Hi,
I have disabled the discovery(Only one discovery - VMM Discovery) but little bit confused about monitoring. What type of monitoring i need to disable. i got below monitors. pls let me know which one to be disabled -
1. Agent service monitor
2. Managed Host monitor
3. ServerAgent Service Monitor
4. VMMService Service Monitor
5. VMHealth Event Monitor
6. Hyper-V host Service Monitor
7. Virtual mavhine Health Monitor

http://contoso.se/blog/?p=398 , maybe it can help you too. Also make sure you are running latest OPSMGR patch (CU4) and latest VMM version and MP. Think there was a issue in a VMM MP.
