Resizing the Body from landscape to portrait
This question may be beneath these forums, so I apologize as I'm no programmer (yet I guess). We are upgrading our ERP system and the reporting function is going from Crystal to SSRS in VS '08. The report I'm editing we now use in Portrait mode to accomodate all groups of operations on one page in most cases. The SSRS exists in landscape mode, and I am able to easily change that through report properties. However, the body remains 10.5" x 11.8" and I am not able to make changes take effect. Is there anyway to change the body dimensions to automatically adjust the objects or do objects have to be repositioned, resized, etc. individually?

The SSRS exists in landscape mode, SSRS don't have a size (it's not fix landscape), it shows the reports as they are defined. But in preview it uses the complete screen; I guess this is want you really mean. You can switch the screen to print preview to see also some borders.Olaf Helper Blog Xing

Hi Shawnmax, Reporting Services does not provide explicit page orientation, such as portrait and landscape modes. Acutally, Reporting Services prints a report in landscape or portrait based on the difference between the report width and height. If the width is larger than the height, the report will be printed in landscape; otherwise, it will be printed in portrait.
