Restore Closed Web Part Page Title Bar
RE: Sharepoint Services 3.0 (WSS 3.0) On a WebPart page's Properties I navigated into the the Web Part Page Maintenance and *Closed* the TitleBarWebPart. Now I'm trying to restore it. I'm finding that the suggested way to restore a Closed web part, Edit Page | Add Web Part | Advanced Options | Closed Web Parts | select and drag/drop on to web part page isn't working since the Title Bar web part isn't part of the main page - its in that area between the bread-crumbs and the content. The "drag and drop" into that area isn't allowed. Any help on this appreciated. David

Hi David,Sounds like SPD was used to insert a WebPart into a location that does not have a zone. I would suggest using SPD to set IsIncluded property to TRUE-IvanIvan Sanders

Hi,
I think it is by design that you should add a closed web part in a web part zone. You can add the closed web part in the Header web part zone of the web part page.
Hope it helps.Xue-Mei Chang

Thanks for the replies. SPD wasn't used - the TitleBarWebPart is a default item on any page that's part of the Team Site template but maybe I could use Sharepoint Designer to add it back on the affected page. As for the Header Webpart Zone this is still within the content area of the page and not where the TitleBarWebPart renders by default. I gave up and just deleted the page and recreated. Still seems odd that I can Close that web part and not add it back. Maybe a small bug and perhaps changed in the new Fountation 2010 versions.
