I am trying to do a Restore from Backup from the Sharepoint --> Central Administrator --> Operations --> Restore from Backup. The status shows me as Completed (without any errors). But when I try to access the restored site using the URL, it gives me an error that "Page cannot be displayed". Moreover, it does not make any entry in the IIS and no new virtual directories are created. Also, no virtual directory is created under \\Wss\VirtualDirectories folder. I am using Windows Sharepoint Server 7.0 Help required urgently.
