Hi John, Thanks for replying. I tried that already, but it still needs user to enter "RunCleanWipe -silent" command. If I want to use SCCM to distribute it to client, where I should enter this command or I need to use any another command in the package? Please advise and thank you.

Hi everyone, I tried to uninstall Symantec Antivirus on around 1,500 workstations, so I can install Forefront Endpoint Protection client on them from SCCM. As I know that FEP can't remove all versions of Symantec. For this reason, I downloaded Symantec CleanWipe and created a package for software distribution from SCCM. However, I couldn't make it to run in silence and without any users interaction. Does anyone know how to do it? Thanks in advance.

Hi swl2011, Have a look at this cleanwipe document: http://www.gmdsolutions.com/downloads/Symantec%20Removal%20Tools/CleanWipe/CleanWipe_Instructions.pdf In this document, silent run mode is described like this: Copy the CleanWipe folder to the target computer. Open the CleanWipe folder and doubleclick the CleanWipe.exe file. When you are prompted, browse to a location where you want the files to be copied and then click Start to extract the files. If you click Start without selecting a location, the files are extracted to the Windows\Temp folder. If you are asked if you want to run CleanWipe now, click No. Open a command prompt and change directory to the CleanWipe\app folder. Type the following command: RunCleanWipe silent CleanWipe then uses its defaults to run without any user input. So you should add extracted file as package data source and select download and run the package but run from DP. And you should run the RunCleanWipe silent command in the command prompt and use ~%0dp to reference the command location under client cache.
