SCCM2012 Prerequisites Error

Hi,

Server 2008 R2 SP1 + SQL 2008 R2 SP2 + SCCM 2012 SP1.

I create a domain user with admin right for SQL Server service but still occur this error.

The logon account for the SQL Server service cannot be a local user account, NT SERVICE\<sql service name> or LOCAL SERVICE.  You must configure the SQL Server service to use a valid domain account, NETWORK SERVICE, or LOCAL SYSTEM.

setspn -A MSSQLSvc/<SQL Server FQDN>:1433 <Domain\Account>

I registered the SPN but still failed to pass to checking.

Thanks.

Is it not good practice for Server 2008 R2 SP1 + SQL 2008 R2 SP2 + SCCM 2012 SP1 ?

Default all SQL Server and default instance name and no error occur.

The logon account for the SQL Server service cannot be a local user account, NT SERVICE\<sql service name> or LOCAL SERVICE.  You must configure the SQL Server service to use a valid domain account, NETWORK SERVICE, or LOCAL SYSTEM.

No idea why..

How did you change /set the SQL Service account?

Are you installing ConfigMgr with an account that is a local admin on the system hosting SQL Server *and* and sysadmin in the SQL Instance?
