SCCM 2007 OSD and acccess to Admin console
I want desktop support person to eb able to deploy Operating system on bare metal machines. I have provided them with iso bootable media. But I do not want to give them any access to SCCM/SCCM console. How can the machine information be imported in SCCM database automatically without desktop support person having access to SCCM?Divya

you can automate the process, but you need an accout with these permissions: Member of the locam DCOM group on the site server ConfigMgr. classes Add Create permission on the Computer association class. Add Read, modify, "Read resource", “modify collection settings”, Delete resource and "Modify resource" permissions on the Collection class. Add Read and "Import computer entry" permissions on the Site class. Kent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund
