I have one of our SCCM Child Primary Servers SCCM 2007 R3 with SQL Server 2008 R2 on the same box. All the Site Servers in the hierachy are all SCCM 2007 R3 and SQL Server 2008 R2. I was thinking about putting the SCCM database on a database server at that site which is SQL Server 2012. Is SCCM 2007 R3 compatible with SQL 2012 and can this be acomplished? Thanks in advance.

Nothing has been released that 2007 is SQL 2012 compliant that I can recall. you can watch the supported configurations.
