SCCM 2007 am I really running SP2 R3
I am running 4.00.6487.2000 Build 6487. I am trying to install Forefront and it fails the version check saying that I dont have R2 Installed during the prerequisite checking. The SCCM I am using has been downloaded from my volume license is SCCM 2007 R3
SP2 and is what I used to install onto my system. Any Ideas?

Installing R2 (and R3) is not the same as installing ConfigMgr. They install as "add-ons" after you install ConfigMgr; there is no all-in one install that also includes R2 or R3.
The easy way to tell for use is to look at the properties of your site in the console. It will have a field that says R2 (or R3) installed:
