I would like to know step by step process of recovering the primary server

1. I have one primary server in production and another in DR site. Incase primary server in production is down what is the step by step procedure in recovering primary server

Hi,
I would recommend that you do a offline test of the recovery in your Environment as there are many factors, like where you have stored your source files, how your design looks like e.t.c.

The steps would be the same as if your Primary site server crashes and needs to be installed. You would have to rename the Server in the DR site to have the same Server name and disk layout as your primary site server..
