SCCM 64bit clients on windows 7
I in the middle of deploying Windows 7 64bit OS to a small group of users. I am building an image with the SCCM client preinstalled before I add it to the domain. My question is, when I load the client it installs it says "Configuration Manager (32-bit)" in the control panel. I would assume it would say (64-bit) instead, ist this normal behavior? The ccmsetup.log file has no errors and everything looks like it loaded fine. I just want to make sure I am not missing a step. I looked around on the threads and have not seen any post about this. This post here is the closest thing I could find:http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/configmgrgeneral/thread/33a182a2-15bc-4a66-beff-1b843d8736a9?prof=requiredAny would help would be awesome!

This is normal as ConfigMgr2007 and the ConfigMgr 2007 Agent are 32-bit applications only.Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | http://blogs.catapultsystems.com/jsandys/default.aspx | Twitter @JasonSandys
