Hi,SP2 is the latest Service Pack. R2 and R3 are feature add-ons. R2 is released, R3 is in developing and no build number is available yet. R3 is not a requirement not for before SP2 or after. I am installing from scratch and am trying to figure out what is the latest released version with the latest "R add ons". Just toss it on later.R2 is simply a collection of additional things for your Server and/or Console installations. It's completely optional, although what's in R2 is so cool most people don't consider it optional. Regardless, just install R2 on top of SP2, anytime.Standardize. Simplify. Automate.

You can install SP2 on R2 installations.
