SCCM Child site
Hello , Due to a issues we are having with the primary site server I have created a child server and started the replication. What I am not sure of is how do I ensure that all of the packages and package source files have moved to the new server? Do I have to to manually add that server as a distribution point for every package and ISO?

Yes, use the Copy Packages wizard and copy the packages to the new child site DP's.Kent Agerlund | My blogs: blog.coretech.dk/kea and SCUG.dk/ | Twitter: @Agerlund | Linkedin: Kent Agerlund

And doing this will allow all the package files to be there so when I break the parent child connection everything will work without having to manually recreate it?

Hi, Yes. Also, you may refer to the steps in the following link: How to use Preload Package Tool for Configuration Manager 2007 to load package on SCCM Site Please Note: Since the website is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice.
