SCCM Client Agent Properties Question
One quick question -- For my clients that are in a site where I have a Secondary SCCM Server installed, under the Client push properties for those clients do i put the secondary site name for SMSSiteCode or do i put the ParentSite Code, or do i leave it
AUTO?
CCMENABLELOGGING=TRUE SMSSITECODE=??? DISABLESITEOPT=True DISABLECACHEOPT=True SMSCACHESIZE=5120
Thanks.

parent side code or auto. Secondary sites cannot have any clients assigned.Kent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund

As it what i thought but when my system / client gets auto discovered, it shows up as having a site code of the secondary site code. After the Client Install it should go back to the primary site code?

Yes, it should show the PSS site code when it's corretly assigned. Check the ClientLocation.log, locationservices.log and clientidstartupmanager.log files for assignment related issues.Kent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund

OK - so why would my (or should my) secondary server report back in after I installed the client on it belonging to its "Secondary" Site instead of its primary site?

OK - so why would my (or should my) secondary server report back in after I installed the client on it belonging to its "Secondary" Site instead of its primary site? Weird even though the clientLocationLog says its a client of the primary site.
The locationService log also has it in the correct site, and using itself as a ProxyMP, and the primary server as it primary MP.
Slow updating collection data perhaps?

that is something I have only seen in cases where the client is not correctly assigned (or in the middle of the assignment process). What does the log files say?Kent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund

Log files you mention above have it assigned to the primary site, when i use the SCCM Client Center Util, it shows up as its primary site as the primary site. Its only when i look at the server from the All Systems collections do i see its site code
as the secondary site code. I'm gonna try to uninstall / reinstall the client and see.
