SCCM Client switching to Internet
Hello, we current have an SCCM 2007 Site set to Mixed Mode. When our Win7 x64 Clients are provisioned the ccmsetup log file and locationservices.log file seem to be report as expected. however shortly after install the locationservices.log file then reports
"Group Policy Site Assignment key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\SMS\Mobile Client has changed, will attempt to re-assign the client." and the machine is not enrolled in our SCCM Site. If i perform a repair install of the client the machine is then configured correctly
again. the SCCM Client control panel reports that the machine is "currently internet" however the they are on a subnet that is withing the intranet site's boundaries.
Here is the LocationServices log

Hi,
Take a look at these two threads:

It seemed that it's group policy problem which will re-assing the client, could you please check it?Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. I double checked my GPOs and we definitely didn't have the CONFIGMGR2007ASSIGNMENT.ADM loaded let alone configured.
I'm still not sure what is triggering the Client to reassign, however I have now added the CONFIGMGR2007ASSIGNMENT.ADM to my GPO and set the Site and the client reassigned again. So I guess this issue is now has a "work around" but the underlying cause
still remains elusive.
