SCCM DashBoard Issue
Unlike other posters, i had no issue installing the DASH, but I cannot get the default site to display. It always gives me the Cannot Display the webpage. This is in my dev env, and the admin config site works just fine, but the site it creates at install, just wont come up. Im not an IIS person but this seems like a simple setup. Anyone have ideas?

No I changed to an obscure port 3 times, same thing. First the default 12345, the 713 and lastly 1203. Same thing happens each time.

Did you get this resolved? I installed it and it worked for a while then all of sudden stopped working. All i get now is Service Unavailable HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable. I havent amended or changed anything on the server and like yourself dont know alot about IIS to go investigating.

Hi, Have you changed the Sharepoint default site aswell? it will use port 80 and disable the default website, which is required by SCCM. Regards, Jörgen -- visit my System center blog at http://ccmexec.com --

Hi Jorgen Ive investigated further and found that the application pool for configmgrdashboard_app in iis 7was set to LocalService so i changed this to networkservice which got me further along. Now the dashboard comes up but i get the error User Controls have not been created, Please refresh page to create User Controls This occurs on the seperate sections of the dashboard. So im stuck at this point. ive found only one article advising to grant the data reader role to the application pool account for the ConfigMgr database seems enough to make the dashboard work appropriately. But i dont know how to do this? Do you know? link to article below http://nocentdocent.wordpress.com/2010/04/21/configuration-manager-dashboards/ Also to answer your question the sharepoint - 80 site is stopped. Is this important as i did change the sharepoint default site and that is working fine. Do i need to start it again? if i try to start it i get a message "This web site cannot be started. Another web site may be using the same port". As far as i can tell sccm is working fine.
