SCCM SP2
We are at SCCM 2007 RTM and are looking for the best path to R2. SP1 to R2 or SP2 to R2. From what Iunderstand SP2 will not be out until 90 days after Windows 7 which is maybe going to release end of year which makes SP2 out March 2010? Is this correct or am I way off?

Hi,It is correct that SP2 will be released 90 days after Windows 7. Regarding R2, SP1 of ConfigMgr is a requirement. You should see R2 as an add-on, not a version. So to sum up, I should implement SP1 for ConfigMgr and after that you can install the R2 add-on.Hope this helps. Please mark posts as Answered if appropriate.

Any chance that there is a mismatch between the installed version vs the SP version (in terms of eval vs non-eval versions)?

Did you downloaded the slipstreamed ISO file? I should download the pack as only the update:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=3318741a-c038-4ab1-852a-e9c13f8a8140&displaylang=enFollow me through my blog and Twitter!

Okay...I know others had some issues with an incomplete download. You can try to download again. Is your site running the RTM code as well?I did about 5 hierachy upgrades with this file and never had any issues. Follow me through my blog and Twitter!
