SCCM Services not shot showing
Hi,
In my scenario I have done hardwareware migration of one of my primary site server.
My Primary site server (site code: XYZ) was installed on windows server 2003 and SQL 2005 was installed.
I brought a new server and I installed Windows server 2008 and SQL 2008, I gave same computer name as it was in my old server, I have installed SCCM (Same Site Code: XYZ) on that and then I have restored the back up from old server(XYZ).
It restored successfully ! All site component is showing healthy.
now the problem is I can not see any of the SMS services there apart from sms_site _Component. One more thing I have observer that SCCM server logs are not updateing.Joy, Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. after tthe site restore, you should run a site reset. Wait until sitecomp has installed all the components, and restart the site server.Kent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund

Hi All,
I did a blunder !!! when I install the new SCCM server I have install SQL in the correct directory but not choosen the right directory for SCCM.
I have reinstalled it and then restored the backup again and now it is showing all the services and working fine.
