Running as user "Aklilu, are you a local administrator ? it seems it's trying to do these actions on d:, could that be part of your problem ? (Couldn't get directory list for directory 'http://CONFIGMGR/CCM_Client/ClientPatch'. This directory may not exist.), also it's failing to download the files through BITS what os are we dealing with here ? you mention SCCM 2007 SP1 but that won't support Windows 7 (if that's what you are trying) I would highly recommend you try upgrading to SCCM 2007 SP2 My step by step SCCM Guides I'm on Twitter > ncbrady

Hi, Please check if you can access the shared folder from the computer which failed to install the client and the Server FQDN is correct. You may also check if the BITS service is running on the client and the BITS server extensions are installed and enabled on the Server. This issue can also be caused by the firewall blocking background downloads and transfers. Please check if the scenarios in the following thread: SCCM 2007 R2 (Client Push - Failed to download files through BITS) Regards, Sabrina This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees, and confers no rights. |Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. The BITs server is up and running, the firewall is turned off and the amazing part is that the client did successfully install previously. The client is windows 7 . And you asked me to try and access the shared folder. which one? But when trying the URL 'http://CONFIGMGR/CCM_Client/ClientPatch' it gave me a "404 file or directory not found error"
