SCCM on different Server Operating Systems
I've got a ConfigMgr 2007 environment (SP2 with R2 applied) with 2 site servers. Both servers are running Server 2003 R2 as the Server O/S. One of the two servers acts as the Distribution Point for Package and O/S Deployment. This server
is old and is being replaced.
Question I have is if there are any known issues with mixing the server O/S's in the same SCCM environment - i.e. I would prefer to install Server 2008 R2 and make the most of increased support life and advanced functionality (of the Server O/S)? I
can't seem to find anything that suggests there are issues - but is it a supported configuration?

You can mix the OS versions as long as they are supported:

Thanks Torsten. Appreciate the quick response. I figured it probably wasn't going to be an issue, but I wanted to throw it out there just to make sure.
