SCOM 2007 R2 Alerts
How do I make it so SCOM will continualsy email me when a critical error occurs until someone clears it. Right now in my testing I am only getting 2 emails when the issue first happens. I want them to come in say once a minute or once every 3 minutes until
the issue has been looked at.

Unless you are creating new alerts with rules that have no suppression, this won't be possible. Microsoft Corporation

not the normal rules. they will probably not have that one as an overridable parameter. Nobody would like to have his mailbox flooded with the same alerts about the same issue. Wel, almost nobody :-) But you can make your own rules with alerts like Dan

I believe you can also create a subscription for alerts from certain classes/groups that have been in a certain state for X number of min. So you have one subscription for these classes and a type of alert resolution state, that sends out notification.
I have done this for an application in my environment. I would have to look at what I did to give you more details.Regards, Blake Email: mengotto<at>hotmail.com Blog: http://discussitnow.wordpress.com/
