SCOM 2012 CU2 Web console IE is crashing

all back end servers are 2012 CU2.
Is there a hotfix or something to fix this?

Hi there,
When you deployed CU2 to your Web Console servers, did you make the required modifications to the web.config file? If not, check out this post for full instructions on deploying CU2 to your SCOM 2012 environment:
http://kevingreeneitblog.blogspot.com/2012/07/scom-2012-deploying-cumulative-update.html
If you are happy that CU2 has been deployed properly, try uninstalling the web console role and either reinstalling to the same server, or better still to another management server. It seems like it could be an issue with Silverlight and I've had some weird
problems viewing the web console on both RTM and CU1 releases too just after running the SilverLight configuration splash that comes up the first time you open it.
Hope this helps!
Kevin

OK, so firstly, check out Tim's post here for that particular error:
http://www.scom2k7.com/error-installing-scom-2012-omserver-msi-returned-error-1603/
Secondly, take a look at this excellent PDF document that Satish Pandita put together detailing some of the issues that you might encounter when upgrading SCOM 2012. The error you describe is included in this document and is well worth reviewing.

Hope this helps,
Kevin.

Tim's post is referring to a different error (Internal Error 25205. -2147217406, IDispatch error #3586)
Second link is good for beginners but, is not pointing the root cause for this error.
Reinstalling the product is not a solution
In my case I had to rebuild the WMI and I was able to install the console.
Now .. back to testing
Thanks!

Glad you got it sorted anyway and good luck with the testing!

IE is still crashing, tested on different PCs.
Looks like the bug wasn't fixed in CU2
Thanks,
