Hi That guide is for the original SCOM 2007 and things changed in 2007 R2. "Do I need to add scom IP at receiver connector to send alert to exchange?" Yes - you can configure a receive connector for the Management Server(s) depending on your SCOM version and also to use anonymous access (depending on authentication method chosed) on the hub transport server. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232021.aspx For SCOM 2007 R2, the RMS is responsible for notifications so include that in the configuration of the receive connector. For SCOM 2012, any Management Server in the Notifications Resource Pool can send notifications, so you'll need to include them all in your configuration of the receive connector.
