SCOM Failed to connect to server
I have a lab, one of the machine is setup as the AD + SCOM. Recently I changed the PC static IP address, but computer name and domain has no change. When I open SCOM, I get error saying Failed to connect to server, SDK service is yet to initialized. Below is the detail information. The Server Name never changed, please help. Thanks Note: The following information was gathered when the operation was attempted. The information may appear cryptic but provides context for the error. The application will continue to run. Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Common.SdkServiceNotInitializedException: Sdk Service has not yet initialized. Hi, First of all - check your DNS settings and delete the old entries if you have any. THen check your eventlog. Do you see any errors\warnings?http://OpsMgr.ru/

Hi I would also say to first check the ip addresses in DNS. Also check if DNS and AD are operational.Bob Cornelissen - BICTT (My BICTT Blog)

When DNS is correct and still not working, check your SPN.Regards, Marc Klaver http://jama00.wordpress.com/

Hi, Firstly, please check the network configurations and connectivity. Based on my research, I would like to suggest the following: 1. Please try clearing the HealthService queue on the server and see if it works: 1) Stop System Center Management service. 2) Go to C:\Program Files\System Center Operations Manager 2007\, and rename the “Health Service State” folder. 3) Restart System Center Management service. 2. Check the database related registry key on RMS server: OpsMgr 2007: Operations Console does not open and gives SDK service error http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2002620 3. Check the account settings: How to change the credentials for the OpsMgr SDK Service and for the OpsMgr Config Service in Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936220 4. Check SPN: OpsMgr 2007: Agents stuck in Pending Management with Event ID 21016 http://blogs.technet.com/b/smsandmom/archive/2008/03/13/opsmgr-2007-agents-stuck-in-pending-management-with-event-id-21016.aspx 5. Ensure SQL Broker is enabled: SCOM Discovery Wizard doesn’t work http://thoughtsonopsmgr.blogspot.com/2009/01/scom-discovery-wizard-doesnt-work.html Please Note: Since the website is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice. Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this information. If the issue persists, please also check the Event Log and let us know the details if there are any related erros. Hope this helps. Are u running everything on 1 host? If DNS has no issue, check SQL. If SQL is running fine, try to reinstall the agent.
