Hello All, Is there a pack or anyone came up with a though of having one SCOM pack which can alert on Rule/Monitor changes on other pack and also having a change track to check on MP versions and all. thanks ManishManish

Hi Not out of the box - auditing of changes is a much requested feature but has yet to make it into the product. If you are happy to look at 3rd party commercial software then this might be an option for you: http://www.silect.com/products/mp-studio/management-pack-lifecycle But it only audits changes madew through its own console - not if changes are made directly through the SCOM console. Thank you Graham, Wont be able to use Silect product. What I am looking for is regular change control for the MPs where some one changed any criteria of event alert, created any override should be tracked and alerted. I haven't yet chcked the SDK offerings on this note. thanks ManishManish

Hi Manish The SDK won't help with this - that link is for checking to see if new management packs are available. Auditing of changes within SCOM is a key concern for many and is sadly lacking from the current version.
