SCOM unable to monitor SNMP traps
I'm trying to monitor Citrix NetScaler device (which is in DMZ) using SCOM 2007 R2. SNMP configuration on SCOM server and NetScaler device seems to be correct. I could successfully discover the device and discovered inventory of the device is up to date. I'm able to see the traps in Trap Receiver GUI on SCOM server too but OpsMgr is not generating alerts. I've tried creating a custom monitor and there are a few default monitors to monitor the same SNMP trap but none of them are creating alerts. I've tried restarting SNMP and SCOM services and there aren't any errors in Operations Manager log as well. Can you please suggest me on how to troubleshoot it further? Thanks, Aruna

Hi, 1. Check that your snmp trap rule is targeted to server that is proxy-agent for this network device. You can find it under Administration tab - Network Devices. 2. What operation system is installedon your RMS? http://OpsMgr.ru/
