SCUP architecture design
Hi all, I am trying to implement SCUP into our SCCM R2 environment with 1 central site and 4 child primary sites. Do i need to install SCUP at each site? Or can i just install it on the central site and have the imported patches replicated down to the child and not have SCUP install on each the child site? Thanks.

Just to add a little info, SCUP is just a tool to create and then import the metadata of the updates into Software update Management (SUM). You can treat the metadata imported into SUM the exact same as metadata for updates you receieve from Microsoft via the update synch process in SUM because it is the same. ConfigMgr itself has no specific knowledge of SCUP or that updates were imported via SCUP.
