hi Aqerlund, thanks for your response, We have renamed the computer name please find the SPN lessage C:\Program Files\Support Tools>setspn -l karthik.jayaraj Registered ServicePrincipalNames for CN=Karthik Jayaraj,OU ture Unit Admin,DC=gdnnorthamerica,DC=com: MSSQLSvc/housccm:1433 MSSQLSvc/HOUSM1001.gdnnorthamerica.com:1433 MSSQLSvc/HOUSM1001:1433 HOUSM1001 is the old computer name HOUSCCM1001 is the new computer name how to change the SPN and delete the old SPN Please provide me the step by step process to understand. Re registered the spn and restarted the system and the installation it fails again with the same error. hi all, thanks for the responses, i was able to resolve the issue in the below mentioned steps, i uninstalled the old installation and installed using a new account which was never used for installing SCCM and changed the installation path to d:\SCCM. Installation suceeded but iam still not able to understand the issue as because , i ve tried installing in a new partition and resustered the spn in the account used for installing still it idint suceed. if some one have help me understand thr root cause it will help me in future. thanks Karthik.JayarajKarthik.J
