SSIS logging sysdtslog90 Table
Hi All,I have enable to logging under SSIS mean of that particular package by selecting Logging -> Add provider types (SSIs log provider for SQL Server) -> Descriptions as (Writes log entries for events to a SQL Server database) -> Configuration as (my connecting manager)Than enabled Events like,OnErrorOnPostExecuteOnPreExecuteOnTaskFailedAnd finally clicked OKExectued the current SSIS package successfully, to read the logs I went to SSMS by writing the query:-SELECT *FROM sysdtslog90But it is giving me Error message as:-"Invalid object name 'sysdtslog90'."Can anybody help me out?I went to the same procedure/steps for other packages with different connection manager their I can see sysdtslog90 table but not into the current. What is the problem?I'm the db_owner of the database also I tried creating & drop the table which I can do than why I cannot see sysdtslog90 Table although I have created it successfullyThanksRegards,Kumar

Our log provider wouldn't write to another table. please check the Jamie's blog for custom logging.Let us TRY this |

Hi ETL,I think you didnt got my question correctly?I'm not writing logs to another customer table I want into the sysdtslog90. Do I have to create it manually? It wont create automatically when the SSIS logging is enable throught the package.Please help me out?Thanksregards,Kumar

I found out that "sp_dts_addlogentry" will be created so where I will be created under master db or msdb db or user db
this sp is already in msdb database. so there is no need to creating it again. for the custom logging you have to create it manually.
please read the jamie's blog for doing the same.Let us TRY this |
