I have a custom delivery extension that was developed for SQL Server Reporting Services 2008. However, this extension is not able to be loaded after we upgraded the server to 2008 R2. I've copy pasted the portion below from the resulting log file. extensionfactory!ReportServer_0-2!1418!05/04/2011-11:26:29:: e ERROR: Exception caught instantiating Doc Trak Delivery report server extension: System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'Void Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Globals.SafeOpenXmlDocumentString(System.Xml.XmlDocument, System.String)'. at SchedulerDelivery.DocTrakProvider.SetConfiguration(String configuration) at Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.ExtensionClassFactory.CreateAndInitializeExtensionInstance(Extension extConfig). I found that the new Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnotics DLL used in R2 no longer supports this method. I did some searches on the web but am unable to find any documentation for this method to find either what it does so I can duplicate the content or an alternate assembly this method would exist within. Can anyone help please?
