Hello, We have a contacts web database using the sharepoint 2010 template. When you move to the reports tab, select a report and export to word or excel (from the actions menu), we receive a blank file. interestingly, exporting to PDF works. Upgraded to the april CU, but no change. TIA, Jaymz

Based on your description, do you mean any report can be opened in HTML and exported to PDF correctly but only generate a blank file in exporting to Word or Excel? If I have misunderstood, please point out. Currently, please try to access the report on Report Server (http://servername/reportserver) directly to see if it can be export to Word and Excel.
