When I execute the report from Report Manager the subreport opens. When I execute the same report and subreport through asp.net website the report is seen but subreport doesnot open and the screen still displays the main report only. The subreport should open on click of hyperlink in main report. do we need to enable any parameter of reportviewer? do we need to write C# code in ReportViewer page to call Subreport. If yes, whats the code

Hi Schamp, Is there some error message when you click the hyperlink on the main report? based on my understanding to your scenario, you might build a web application to call the RDL report(subreport) on report server from RDLC report(Main report), actually there is no need to type in any code in code-behind, but please make sure the property of EnableHyperlinks is set to true value. To set or enable EnableHyperlinks property of a local report which will be displayed using a ReportViewer control, open the Properties screen for report viewer control. Then drill down the LocalReport property which is a member of Misc group tab container. And select True for EnableHyperlinks for the LocalReport. If I misunderstand you, please give some feedback.
