SSRS report manager won't open on IE
I have installed SSRS 2008 on win 2008 server couple of months ago. Gave all the required permissions to all the users and they were able to pull Report Manger and manage there reports.
All of a sudden couple of weeks ago, report manager won't open in IE. When the URL (http://192.xxx.xx.xx/Reports/Pages/Folder.aspx?SelectedTabId=PropertiesTab) is
selected nothing happens , I get a blank page , no error is displayed.
I read couple of posts and rebooted SSRS server but it din't help.
Also, I am able to open the report manager in Firefox and it works fine.
Any suggestions please.Rama DBA

Hi Rama,
From your description, you are able to access Report Manager through Firefox. So, this issue might be caused by IE. Since Report Manager could be opened in IE at first, have you
ever changed the settings of IE recently? Can you access Report Manager through IE on another computer? And which version of IE you are using?
Generally, to run Report Manager and use Report Manager to view reports, we must use Internet Explorer 6.0 with SP1 or higher and scripting must be enabled. You can check script
settings in the Security tab of the Internet Options dialog box. In the
Security tab, when you select the zone through which you access Report Manager (in most cases, this is the
Local intranet zone), you can click Customize Level to enable or disable different types of script functionality. In addition, please also User Authentication (at last) in Security Settings page, and select
Automation logon with current user name and password.

Awesome,
Tony,
your "In addition " suggestion at the end did the trick.
Some how my IE settings might have got changed. When I selected "Automatic login with current user name and password" it worked. Scrpting was already enabled but anonymous logon was slected. I would have never guessed this myself. Thank you.
