In Samsung Magician for SSDs it is not possible to enable Rapid Mode because Magician does not recognice Windows 10 :

 Requirement OS : "Windows 7 or above" > "Error in obtaining info".

Any suggestions?

It does not recognize win 10 yet (its a beta).  No idea if the problem lies with win 10 beta or samsung.  My 850 is in the same boat

Install Magician 4.4 and enable Rapid, then you can install 4.5 over it and rapid will stay, however if you disable it in 4.5 it again won't be available.

I emailed Samsung. Reply said it has not been tested yet for win10 and to expect somethings to be not fully functional.

Unfortunately, Magician 4.4 does not recognize the Samsung 850 Pro SSD. So no go for turning RAPID on via that method for Win 10.

I have the 850 as well and it (version 4.4) is the only version that allows rapid on win 10.  4.5 does not recognize win 10 so rapid is not

available.

Same problem here. I'm on a brand new Samsung 850 EVO model and it's so slow on Windows 10 build 10061.

Magician 4.4, 4.5 and 4.6 does not allow enable of Rapid Mode on my model.

Magician 4.4 should be able to enable rapid.  It does here.  if you install 4.5 directly it does not recognize win 10.  Was not even aware there is a 4.6

This is from version 4.4.0 of Magician, and RAPID is greyed out.

Maybe if you look at you services and give me the setup of SamsungRapidSvc and check the registry for the same I can replicate it manual without the Samsung GUI?

As far as I can see in the wmi trace and procmon it only check for WMI OSMajorVersion. So it could be we could manual install the service.
