You have to schedule and run the package on the SQL Sever 2005 server.
It can connect to other servers, such as your SQL 2000 server, but the package must run on the machine upon which SSIS is installed, and for this example that is the 2005 machine.http://www.sqlis.com | http://www.konesans.com

Still No.
As I said before, you must schedule and run the package on a SQL Sever 2005 server. Using a 2005 client is good, but it must connect to a 2005 server, and that server must have SSIS installed. You must then deploy your package to that 2005 server, and
then schedule it.
How did you develop a SSIS package without the 2005 client to start with? Do you mean DTS or SSIS?http://www.sqlis.com | http://www.konesans.com

Eshwar, if you don't have SQL Server 2005, you cannot use SSIS.http://www.sqlis.com | http://www.konesans.com
