Securing a Sharepoint Server
HiI am currently administrating a single sharepoint MOSS 2007 server running on Windows 2008 64bit. At present it is only accessible from behind a firewall to staff within the network. However we are looking to make it available from outside the network over the internet. Does anybody know of any good guides or advice for security considerations and implemention when allowing access over the internet? Thanks Gavin

Thanks for the answers and advice. Just to clarify1. If i have an exisiting internal sharepoint site that i would like my exisiting users to access from anywhere through the internet do i need to buy a connector license? ( i have already purchased CALS for the users)2. If i want to host a public facing website with annoymous access for all users do i still need to buy CALS or a connector license? Thanks againGavin
