Afternoon All,

I have a new installation of SCDPM Sp1 in my production environment and battling to keep the Replica's consistent. I read that it's best practice to serialize the backups per CSV. I have looked at a few guides but the all seem to be for DPM 2010 and DPM 2012 but none for DPM 2012 SP1. Now before you 2012 and 2012 SP 1 are the same, they aren't. The folder where I need to paste the generated xml into on each host doesn't exist, and I can't find a similar directory with in the DPM folder.

All articles say I should paste the generated .xml into %PROGRAMFILES%\Microsoft DPM\DPM\Config for 2010 and for 2012 it's %PROGRAMFILES%\System Center 2012\DPM\DPM\Config But with SP1 this appears to have changed again, if I look where the DPM files are located there is no Config folder what so ever. So a little confused as to how to get this working properly.

Is it still meant to be done this way? Is there another way I can set this up?

Well, the folder for 2012 SP1 is in fact "\Program Files\Microsoft System Center 2012\DPM\DPM\Config".

Can you not just create the folder?

Wasn't sure if it would work, why I was asking. Will give it a go and see if it works.
