Setting permissions for views
I thought I read somewhere that in SharePoint 2007 you can set up unique permissions for views in a SP List. I want to create a view of a SP list and limit who can see that view. How do I set this up?Thanks,FrankF

This is not something that is available out of the box. Views can be created as public (everyone can see) or private (only visible to the person who created the view).~Jennifer Mason ~My Blog~ ~SharePoint Support~ ~SharePoint Training~ ~Follow me on Twitter!~

Hi, There is no security at View level so you can't restrict access to Views to particular user groups. It is not possible out of the box; you can use the third part control: http://sppex.codeplex.com/ Hope it helps. Xue-Mei Chang
