SharePoint 2007 Default Tasks List
I seem to recall reading that the Default Tasks List (the one created when a new site is instantiated) has a retention period on the items it contains. So, if this is true, does anyone out there know how to change it? I have some items in this list that
were put there by a customized workflow that need to be retained for several years.
Anything shared will be appreciated... thanks!

The task list is a standard sharepoint list and has no retention period.
