SharePoint 2007 Summary View Problem
Hi,I`m working with MOSS in my company and today we encountered with a strange issue, I coudn`t find a solution for this yet.> In a document library when a user upload a document, it doesn`t show up in <Summary View> of the library. When I change the view from <Summary View> to All Documents view, I can see the document but when I change it back it dissapears.> What is the difference between All Documents View and <Summary View>. I can`t edit the <summary view> or <Current View>. > Why there is such a view that I can`t edit ? > In settings of the Document Library All Documents view is the default view. If the default view is the All Documents view why does it show in the Modify Web Part pane as <Current View>. I think this is confusing.ThanksCan Atuf Kansu

Hi,
I am afraid that I cannot reproduce your issue regarding document missing. Actually, it is not recommended to have summary view for a document library. It is always used for the parent site such as document center, site directory etc.Option <Current View> does not always mean “All Item View”. Instead, it represents the current view of this web part. That is, if you switch to a different view, <current view> will be changed to the one you specified.Last but not least, editing summary view is not supported in SharePoint.
Thanks for your understanding.
Best Regards.
