Hello,

When uploading a Document into SharePoint, I have been receiving the below error message. However, I am able to upload some documents/files(excel, ppt, word, mpp) but sometimes the files don't work. I have tried renaming the files, pasting the data into a "new" document and saving, but nothing has seemed to work.

If someone has seen the below error message or had the same problem as described above, can you please assist with a solution?

Can you search for that correlation ID in your server's ULS logs? There will be more detailed information about the error there.

What is the size of these files. Make sure you are not running into this issue because of large files?

As already been pointed out please also check your ULS log and see if you can find any information on this error.

Where would I find the ULS log link on the SP 2010 browser?

They are on the file system of the SharePoint server. By default, they are stored in %COMMONPROGRAMFILES%\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\14\LOGS.

Does your filenames contain special characters?
