Hi

I am trying to migrate from SP 2007 to SP 2013 by the middletier SP 2010. The SP 2007 contains a custom list consisting of 256 columns.

While migrating to SP 2010, it works fine but when in SP 2013 its giving the below error.

I have tried to delete the custom list and then done the migration but still the issue persists.

incompatible with this version of SharePoint. Remedy : Delete some fields from the list 'XXX List'."

 

Any help will be really greatful.

Have you also deleted the list from all recycle bins?

Yes but still the same issue

Sharepoint 2010 its working fine-a, then move sharepoint 2010 custom list to sharepoint 2013.
