Hi guys, I am getting the following error message in my event log. Can anyone please guide me how may I troubleshoot why this issue is being produced ? Event Type: Error Event Source: Office SharePoint Server Event Category: Office Server Shared Services Event ID: 7082 Date: 12/24/2009 Time: 12:56:58 AM User: N/A Computer: USSLSSHP001 Description: An unexpected error occurred while refreshing the shared object manager cache. Hi, You can try to disable TCP chimney and let operating system to process TCP/IP connection. Please follow up the steps below: 1. On SharePoint Server and SQL Server, click “Start”à “Run” à “cmd.exe” 2. On the command prompt window, input “Netsh int ip set chimney DISABLED” and confirm it can finish successfully 3. Use the following steps to set RSS to zero: a. Click “Start”à “Run”, type “regedit”, and then click “OK”. b. Locate and then click the following registry subkey:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters c. On the “Edit” menu, point to “New”, click “DWORD Value”, and then type “EnableRSS”. d. Double-click “EnableRSS”, type “0”, and then click “OK”. e. Restart the computer on which you changed the EnableRSS value. 4. Dear Warfi,could you please do the following :-I- try to restart you sharepoint Timer on all your servers, and check if this solve your problem. II- if not , Do this by following these steps: Stop the “Windows SharePoint Services Timer” Service on all servers in the farm running it. Navigate Windows Explorer to %ALLUSERSPROFILE% \Microsoft\SharePoint\Config\… Delete all the files (or move them) except the cache.ini file in this folder. Edit the cache.ini in notepad and replace the number present with a zero. Repeat 2-4 for all servers that had the Timer service running. Start the “Windows SharePoint Services Timer” Service on all servers in the farm running it. Best Regrads, Ahmed Madany

Did anyone get a resolution to this problem. I am facing the same issue everyday and users get an occasion request time out when they access the site. The error (Event Id 7082) starts occurring at the same time every day (7:16 AM) and continues through out the day and stops at night.
