SharePoint Subscription Parameters Not Updating
When creating a SharePoint subscription for an SSRS report, not all of the cascading parameters are retaining the user's selected value when defining the Subscription Properties in SharePoint. After setting the first parameter value, the second parameter
list is populated as expected. However, when the user selects a value for the second parameter, the value does not save (it goes back to "Select a Value") and the user is unable to complete any subsequent parameters and save the subscription.
The report parameters run fine when viewing the report from SharePoint. However, the Subscription Properties SharePoint form does not update all of the required report parameters and users are unable to create subscriptions for reports that have cascading
parameters. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue without upgrading to SharePoint or SQL Server?
I'm currently running SQL 2008 R2 with SP 2 installed. I'm using WSS 3.0 on Windows Server 2003. I'm using SSRS with SharePoint Integrated mode.

Hi Rich_USAFA,
Sorry for the delay.
From your description, it is a known issue with SSRS 2008 that runs in SharePoint integration mode. Since Service Pack 2 has been installed, we can upgrad the SSRS 2008 SP2 Add-in for SharePoint on all SharePoint WFEs to a more stable build by
using the following patch:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=793
Hope this helps.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the reply. I'm waiting for change control to authorize my change to the server with the patch suggested. I'll follow up with the results once we push to production.
- thanks
