In SharePoint 2010 designer workflow, when user tries to approve task item created in task list, Very frequently task items get locked and.

1. It displays a message like current item has been locked.

2 Sometime sharePoint 2010 designer workflow display the below message during the approval of the task item.

"Workflow: Due to heavy load, the latest Workflow operation has been queued. It will attempt to resume at a later time."

It takes 1-2 hours to complete the operation.

3. Workflow timer job was showing as pausing status as we tried to clear chache from all WFE servers at the time it was succeed but after 1 day the status changed to pausing again.

We did the below confirguration changed like Throttle,batch size etc but still the issue occured.

Increase Batch Size : 215
Increase Throttle Size : 50
Time Out  : 15
Workflow Timer Interval : Every 10 minutes between 0 and 30.

Even after applying above configuration changes, problem is not resolved yet.

Please help me.. also let me what other parameters we need to check on order to resolved the issue.
