Shared Services Access Denied
I am still getting access denied when I click on the shared services link to get to the SSP Administration site. My application pool names are different than the SSP names and I have gone under policy for web application and set the admin account to full control on all web applications. Any ideas?

If you are trying to do this from the server that hosts the SharePoint WFE... make sure that you have worked around the "Disable Loopback Check" issue. This has burned me more times that I care to admit.http://weblogs.asp.net/mnissen/archive/2009/06/18/401-errors-when-accessing-sharepoint-or-iis-locally-from-windows-2008-server.aspxI hope this helps and answers your question-Jeff DeVerter, MCSERackspaceblog:http://www.social-point.comtwitter: http://www.twitter.com/jdeverter
